This would’ve never happened at Alabama, Alec. OK, while we can’t truthfully guarantee that, this was certainly an odd moment for former Crimson Tide QB Alec Morris, who now serves as a graduate transfer quarterback at North Texas.
During North Texas’ appearance in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on Tuesday afternoon, Morris was faced with the ultimate distraction from behind center– a vomiting teammate.
Trailing by 10 points and driving his team down the field late in the first half, Morris missed a snap when North Texas RB Jeffery Wilson projectile vomited right there beside him on the field. Check it out, and watch carefully as the running back pukes his guts out right there on the field:
Wilson actually vomited again later in the drive, as shown in the video above.
Morris entered the game with 822 passing yards to go along with six touchdowns and six interceptions. He left the Crimson Tide following last season’s championship.
And while we can understand how he would’ve been distracted, we’re just thankful we’re not the ones in charge of cleaning that field up.
