Remember last year’s national championship game when Alabama tight end O.J. Howard torched the Clemson defense? Well, look who did it again.
In the third quarter of Monday’s national championship game, Howard hauled in a 68-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to extend the Crimson Tide’s lead to 24-14. Below is a clip of the play, which came at a crucial point with Alabama’s lead down to three points:

Last season, Howard had five catches for 208 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers to help the Tide win the national title. If they win the championship again this year, they’ll have Howard to thank for his big scoring play.
