Arkansas has received 13 commitments so far for its 2017 recruiting class with offers extended to many more.
While most of the Razorbacks current targets remain uncommitted, they haven’t stopped pursuing a few who have already announced commitments to rival schools in the SEC.
Here are three prospects currently committed to SEC schools that Arkansas has a chance to flip before National Signing Day:
Phil Hoskins, 3-star DT, Kentucky commit (Highland CC)
Hoskins recently told SEC Country he is still considering Arkansas despite committing to Kentucky in late May.
He received an offer from the Razorbacks last Saturday.

A defensive tackle at Highland — the 6-foot-5, 275-pound junior college standout could potentially play any position on the defensive line at the FBS level.
“I’d say I’m more of a defensive tackle because that is what I have played all of my life, but my frame is better for defensive end,” Hoskins told scout.com’s Scott Eklund in February. “I’m kinda a speed guy, so I can get off the ball well and I make it hard on the guys trying to block me.”
Hoskins had 25 tackles and four sacks as a freshman last season. He committed to Kentucky on May 21 after taking a visit to Lexington.
Bryan Jones, 3-star DE, Ole Miss commit (Baton Rouge, La.)
Jones has continued to take visits despite committing to Ole Miss in early May.
He took an unofficial visit to Arkansas on Tuesday along with his Madison Prep teammates Ty James (ATH) and Donnell Wallace (OL). James and Wallace are currently uncommitted. James was offered by Arkansas on Tuesday.

Jones’ recruitment gained steam rapidly during the spring and summer. He now has 28 offers from FBS schools, with six being in the SEC. He picked up his first offer from North Carolina State last November.
However, Arkansas has yet to extend an offer. That could change soon as Jones told the Arkansas-Democrat-Gazette’s Richard Davenport he’s now considering an official visit to Fayetteville after an “eye-opening” experience Tuesday.
Javier Edwards, 3-star DT, Florida commit (Blinn College)
Another JUCO defensive tackle on Arkansas’ radar, Edwards committed to Florida earlier this month.
The Razorbacks have since extended an offer to the 6-foot-3, 350-pound prospect from Blinn College (Brenham, Texas).

While Florida remains the clear favorite to land Edwards, Arkansas could offer the best chance at immediate playing time. Expected starting defensive tackles Jeremiah Ledbetter and Taiwan Johnson are seniors this season. The Razorbacks and Gators are currently the only SEC schools to extend an offer.
