FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The television situation for Arkansas’ Oct. 8 home game against No. 1 Alabama was announced Monday.
The Razorbacks (3-1, 0-1 SEC) and Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 SEC) will kick off at either 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS or at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Alabama leads the all-time series with Arkansas 19-7. The Razorbacks are currently in the midst of a nine-game losing streak to the Crimson Tide that dates back to 2007.
Arkansas’ last win in the series came on Sept. 23, 2006, when the Hogs won 24-23 in double overtime in Fayetteville.
The next season, Nick Saban took over the Alabama program.
During this current nine-year losing streak to Alabama, the Razorbacks have had four different head coaches — the same number of national championships the Tide have won in that time.
Arkansas plays FCS foe Alcorn State at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark., this week. The Hogs are coming off their first 2016 loss, a 45-24 setback to Texas A&M.
