FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The kickoff time for Arkansas’ Oct. 1 game against Alcorn State in Little Rock was announced Monday.
The No. 17 Razorbacks (3-0) and Braves (1-1) will kick off at noon ET inside War Memorial Stadium, which has long served as Arkansas’ second home.
Arkansas has lost its last three contests in Little Rock, although this one — against an FCS opponent in Alcorn State — would seem to be a virtually guaranteed win. The Hogs were upset in War Memorial Stadium last season by Toledo.
Arkansas is under contract to play at least one game person in the state capital through the 2018 season. There has been lots of buzz lately, though, hinting that the Hogs will end that long-standing tradition post-2018 in order to get one more game on campus each year.
But before facing the Braves, the Razorbacks open SEC play on Saturday in Arlington, Texas, against Texas A&M in the annual “Southwest Classic” game.
