Arkansas alumni react to 28-21 loss to Texas A&M
Arkansas suffered another heartbreaking loss on Saturday, falling to Texas A&M 28-21 in Arlington, Texas.
The Razorbacks held a 21-13 lead for most of the fourth quarter until the Aggies drove the ball 85 yards in just five plays to tie the game at 21 with 2:50 left to play. The contest headed to overtime after Texas A&M’s kicker missed a game-winning field goal as time expired.
But for the second straight year, Arkansas couldn’t get the job done in overtime against Texas A&M. The Razorbacks fell to 1-3 following the loss, prompting multiple alumni to react to the game.
Here’s what they said:
Jimmy Dykes, who attended Arkansas and is now the women’s basketball coach, cheered on the Razorbacks late in the game.
Cmon Hogs. You got almost 3 minutes. NEVER YIELD.
