Arkansas announced a 2017 home football game against New Mexico State on Friday.
The game is set for Sept. 30, 2017, although the kickoff time and television network were not included in the release.
Also not included in the release whether the game will be played in Fayetteville, Ark., or at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
The Razorbacks and Aggies have met five times in the past, with the first three meetings — in 1977, 1985 and 1986 — all being played in Little Rock.
The most recent two games between the teams were played in Fayetteville in 2003 and 2004. Arkansas has won all five meetings.
The Razorbacks also host Big 12 foe TCU — which will host Arkansas this season — in 2017, as well as an early November game against FCS squad Coastal Carolina.
Arkansas’ conference slate for 2017 includes home games against Auburn, Mississippi State and Missouri, as well as trips to Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss and South Carolina, plus a neutral site game against Texas A&M. The SEC has not yet announced dates for its 2017 football schedule.
