FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas coach Bret Bielema made his feelings about the officiating in Sunday’s SEC Tournament final clear with a tweet.

Speaking to reporters just before Arkansas’ pro day Wednesday, Bielema was asked about the tweet. He explained that he was with his wife, Jen, in Dallas to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary when he was watching the game.
“I was just getting a little upset at the end,” Bielema said. “My quarterback (Brandon Allen) piped off and I thought, ‘A quarterback that mentions physicality … I’ve gotta comment on this.’”
Bielema added that he doesn’t possess much “basketball intelligence” because he was a wrestler.
“I just kinda commented on what I saw,” Bielema said. “I apologize. Didn’t mean any ill will and especially didn’t wanna have anything come back at our guys.”
Kentucky beat the Arkansas basketball team by a comfortable score of 82-65.
