FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas junior center Frank Ragnow is expected to be back on campus Thursday night and may play against Alabama on Saturday, coach Bret Bielema said Thursday night.
Ragnow returned home to Victoria, Minn., last Saturday night to be with his family after his father, Jon, died of a heart attack. Jon’s death came shortly after the Razorbacks’ 52-10 win over Alcorn State.
Ragnow has spent time at center and right guard for this season, and has been the Hogs’ most-consistent offensive lineman. Bielema said earlier in the week Ragnow had been involved with the game plan from home and the decision to play would be “100 percent” up to Ragnow.
