FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors gives ideas for what would make for a great ESPN 30 for 30 involving Arkansas.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas beat Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics we discussed in the 200th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
What if I told you … Arkansas would be featured on an ESPN 30 for 30?
John opens the podcast discussing possible ESPN 30 for 30 ideas for Arkansas. The most obvious choice would have to be the Arkansas football seasons from 2005-2007. With the ending of the Houston Nutt era, Gus Malzahn with his high school team coming in, and Darren McFadden having a Heisman Trophy-caliber year, it just makes too much sense. Many Hogs fans will see this story as a “what could have been” scenario.
Other possible stories would be the rise and fall of Bobby Petrino, a John McDonnell feature, and the 1969 “Game of the Century.” Some of the stories are positive, others negative, but all of them very memorable.
Nonsense: Missouri bro crashes into Mizzou Arena
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, John brings up the latest nonsensical story of a Missouri man crashing into Mizzou Arena with his own vehicle. There hasn’t been anything official yet, but it’s being reported that there was $100,000 worth of damage.
