FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks football podcast with Jason Kersey, Trent Shadid and Eric Bolin.
On this episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast, Jason, Trent and Eric begin by discussing Paul Rhoads’ introductory press conference this weekend. Arkansas coach Bret Bielema told reporters that he knew Rhoads was the right guy to be his defensive coordinator long before the job was even open.
The guys also talk about the announced departures of defensive end Tevin Beanum and linebacker Khalia Hackett and what that might mean for the Razorbacks’ defense entering 2017. Bielema also announced that incoming junior-college tight end Jeremy Patton won’t be with the team this spring.
With National Signing Day a little more than a week away, Arkansas just completed a huge recruiting weekend that included 13 official visitors. Trent breaks down some of the big news from the weekend, including the fact that 4-star defensive back Brad Stewart now considers the Razorbacks among his final three schools that he will choose from.
The guys wrap up this episode by discussing Arkansas men’s basketball, which is coming off a weekend win over LSU and has a very important week in front of it.
