FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas will likely have Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium available for the April 29 Red-White spring game, Bret Bielema said Wednesday.
Speaking before the Razorbacks’ pro day, Bielema told reporters that — despite the ongoing stadium renovation — he expected the spring game would still be played there. But he added that the Hogs might be able to play in one direction.
“I just don’t want to put our players in danger,” Bielema said. “At that point, they shouldn’t be to the extent of demolishing too much of the field.”
“Everyone just felt it’d be good to have the spring game in some capacity.”
Bielema said attendance at the spring game might be capped at around 25 or 30,000 because of the renovations. He added that Arkansas would issue more information a couple weeks before the spring game.
