Arkansas center Frank Ragnow has been named college football’s best offensive lineman and run blocker for the 2016 season by Pro Football Focus.
The site, which uses analytics and thorough analysis to asses teams and players, gave Ragnow an 89.4 overall grade for the season. The junior was given a run-blocking grade of 88.9 by the site. He was also named a first-team All-American center by PFF last month.
Ragnow stared 12 games at center and one at right guard this season. According to PFF, the Hogs averaged 5.31 yards on running plays through gaps on either side of Ragnow.
Though he flirted with leaving early for the NFL, Ragnow announced last month he will return for his senior season. With him back, the Razorbacks return four starters on the offensive line next season.
