College GameDay could be coming to Fayetteville very soon. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso could make the trip to Arkansas for the Alabama game on Oct. 8.
GameDay producer Chris Fallica appeared on the Bo Mattingly radio show Tuesday afternoon and speculated that the show could visit the Arkansas campus, but Miami against Florida State and Texas A&M vs. Tennessee are also in the running for that date.
Fallica: Arkansas/Bama, A&M/UT, Miami/FSU are three good choices for GameDay next week. Will probably be a late-Saturday decision again.

The GameDay decision is typically made by Sunday at the latest. Tennessee has already had games against Florida and Virginia Tech featured as part of ESPN’s Saturday morning show this season. Florida State vs. Louisville has already starred as well.
GameDay has only made one appearance in Fayetteville; a November 2006 game against Tennessee. Arkansas is No. 20 headed into it’s game with Alcorn State while No. 1 Alabama plays Kentucky, so barring a major upset, the game would be a battle of ranked teams.
