FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors discusses the injury to LB Jamario Bell and why Arkansas players keep breaking their feet.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 224th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas may need to call Dr. Scholl’s
Nabors opened the podcast discussing the season-ending foot injury to Bell and the impact it will have. Since Bielema arrived at Arkansas, there have been several other occasions when players broke their feet: Kody Walker, Keon Hatcher, Jonathan Williams, Cody Hollister and Dre Greenlaw, just to name a few. With Bell now being added to the list, one has to wonder if there is some type of issue with the way practices are conducted. What impact will this have on the Razorbacks defense?
Nonsense: Did Ole Miss even have to hand over Freeze’s phone?
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the latest nonsensical story from the Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss saga. Houston Nutt’s attorney, Thomas Mars, says that the phone handed to him by Ole Miss for Freeze’s record wasn’t an Ole Miss-provided phone. It was actually a phone provided by the Ole Miss foundation.
