We may be over a year away from him actually setting foot on Arkansas’ campus as a student, but it’s difficult to imagine the Razorbacks getting a (literally) bigger commitment in the class of 2019 than Joseph Stone.
The 6-foot-8, 360-pound lineman took to Twitter to announce his commitment on Sunday morning:

Stone is one of the rare high school prospects who coaches may want to get smaller once he hits campus. Coming out of Trussville, Ala., Stone is Chad Morris’ third commitment in the class of 2019, joining athlete Malik Chavis and fellow offensive lineman Beaux Limmer.
Though his conditioning may be somewhat of a concern, there is no doubt that Stone has the frame to hold up in the SEC. If he is able to come into the program in shape next year, it is not out of the question that he could see the field right away for a rebuilding Arkansas program.
Stone is choosing Arkansas over a host of other offers, including Louisville and Lane Kiffin’s Florida Atlantic squad. He is a 3-star according to 247Sports, and the 93rd-best offensive tackle.
