Barkley said he was impressed by Arkansas’ offense a season ago and believes he could contribute immediately when he arrives on campus.
“I felt like I had a lot to bring to them and they had a lot to bring to me,” Barkley told 247Sports.com’s Otis Kirk. “I liked the offense last season. I thought it was explosive. I feel I can play there and like the chance to play immediately.”
Barkley hails from football powerhouse Bishop Gorman High School. He’s rated as the No. 158 wideout in the country and the No. 10 player in Nevada. His commitment gives Arkansas four hard commits for 2017.
