FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas starting left guard Hjalte Froholdt suffered an apparent leg injury early in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against Florida.
Froholdt was helped off the field and went to the locker room.
The Hogs started Johnny Gibson in place of right guard Jake Raulerson on Saturday but left the rest of the starting offensive line intact. After Froholdt left the game, Gibson shifted to left guard and Raulerson entered the game at right guard.
Froholdt — a sophomore from Svendborg, Denmark — came to Arkansas as a defensive tackle and played that position during his true freshman season in 2015. He shifted to the offensive line last spring.
Arkansas led Florida 14-7 at the time of Froholdt’s injury.
