FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas starting linebacker Dre Greenlaw was escorted to the locker room by athletic trainers with a foot contusion midway through the first quarter of the Razorbacks’ game against Alabama.
His return is questionable.
Greenlaw, a sophomore, was replaced in the lineup by true freshman De’jon Harris.
Linebacker depth has been a major problem for Arkansas the past two seasons.
Greenlaw and senior Brooks Ellis have played virtually every significant snap this season for the Razorbacks because coaches aren’t comfortable playing any backups.
When Greenlaw left the game, Alabama led Arkansas 7-0, and on the first drive with Harris in for Greenlaw, Alabama scored to make it 14-0 with 5:25 left in the first quarter.
