Arkansas mascot sends flowers to Texas’ longhorn
It was a sad week for one of the nation’s most recognizable college mascots, as Bevo XIV, the famous live Texas Longhorn, was forced to retire after being diagnosed with Bovine Leukemia Virus.
Arkansas, which also has a live mascot – a Razorback named Tusk – sent Bevo flowers in Tusk’s name this week.
Bevo sent out his thanks on his official Twitter account. It was certainly a nice gesture from Arkansas.
