Arkansas will have to wait to use a game day locker room planned for the north end zone facility at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
As reported by Clay Henry of WholeHogSports.com, Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said any thoughts that the Razorbacks can use the new game day locker room next season aren’t true.
“We just aren’t going to be able to use anything in the north end zone this season,” Bielema told Henry. “I have not heard anyone say that it will be any way usable. There have never been any plans to use it this season. It just can’t be ready.”
Plans for the locker room are still being finalized, per Henry. The north end zone is being renovated at Arkansas’ stadium.
Bielema revealed interesting plans for the new locker room. He told Henry that it would be “state of the art” and that opportunities to use technology for recruiting purposes will be considered in the plans.
Arkansas finished last season with a 7-6 record, capped by a loss to Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl.
