FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors talks about the lack of respect Arkansas is receiving from national media pundits across college football.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 229th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas ‘gets no respect’
Nabors started the podcast by discussing the lack of respect that is given to not only the Razorbacks but to the state of Arkansas in general. This was all started by a tweet from SEC Network analyst Peter Burns about the passing attacks in the SEC. He feels there are only two teams in the conference that will have great quarterback play: Missouri and South Carolina. This is one example of many in which Austin Allen is not given the credit he deserves. Why are so many different pundits this way toward Arkansas?
Featured walk-on of the day: Blake Mazza
Throughout fall camp, Nabors will play back an interview he conducted with a Razorbacks walk-on. Tuesday is kicker Blake Mazza.
Nonsense: Houston Nutt update
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the latest nonsensical story of the latest update of the Houston Nutt/Ole Miss saga. Now Nutt is only demanding an apology from his former school … well, that and $500k. The pettiness of Nutt continues to grow, and Ole Miss continues to suffer. When will this all end?
