The New Orleans-to-Arkansas pipeline continues.
Linebacker Derrick Munson committed to the Razorbacks on Friday morning, he announced on Twitter.
“Committing to Arkansas today,” Munson said. “Let’s go!!!”
A three-star prospect, Munson is rated as Louisiana’s No. 24 player in the Class of 2017.
The Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.) product follows in the footsteps of high school teammate Briston Guidry, who is also a Razorbacks pledge.
Arkansas players Henre’ Toliver and Dwayne Eugene also hail from Rummel.
Seven members of the Razorbacks coaching staff were recently at the high school while making in-home visits with Guidry and five-star cornerback Kristian Fulton.
Munson is the fifth prospect in Arkansas’ 2017 recruiting class. He also held an offer from Louisville.
