FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast with Jason Kersey and Trent Shadid. On this episode, we take a look at the Razorbacks’ offense as the beginning of spring practice approaches.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after beating Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown on some of the topics we discussed on this, the 132nd episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast.
(NOTE: With Jason and Trent being on vacation this week, we will have 3 podcast episodes instead of the usual 5. All episodes this week were pre-recorded.)
State of the offense
Along with friend of the podcast and local radio host John Nabors, Jason and Trent broke down the Razorbacks’ offense entering 2017 spring practices, which begin next week. Who will be Austin Allen’s backup quarterback? The battle between Ty Storey and Cole Kelley certainly will be intriguing.
Then there’s the offensive line. Just how good will that unit be in its second year under position coach Kurt Anderson? How much does Anderson still have to prove?
There is also the question of who will catch passes from Allen in 2017 after the Hogs lose reliable wideouts Drew Morgan and Keon Hatcher. Who are some of the players expected to step up?
