FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast with Jason Kersey and Trent Shadid. On this episode, we discussed Arkansas’ first week of spring football practices and recruiting.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Arkansas coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after beating Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown on some of the topics we discussed on this, the 139th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast.
Taking reader questions
We open the podcast by taking reader questions while recording a Facebook Live session. You can follow our Facebook page right here. We plan to start recording podcasts and jumping on Facebook Live at the same time more often in the future, so please “like” our Facebook page if you’re interested in asking us questions during future podcast episodes!
On this episode, we answered questions about Arkansas’ start to 2017 spring football. The Hogs are looking to replace lots of key starters along the defensive line and at wide receiver. There is also the switch to a 3-4 defensive system and quarterbacks to cover.
Hogs 2018 recruiting off to good start
After finishing up our Facebook Live session, we wrapped up this episode by talking Arkansas football recruiting. The Hogs hosted several targets during practice last weekend and offered a pair of 4-star prospects scholarships.
One target who visited — Oklahoma City offensive lineman Owen Condon — seems especially interested in what Arkansas has to offer.
