Austin Allen’s throwing showcase against Alcorn State was memorable.
The Arkansas quarterback became the first signal-caller to throw at least two touchdowns in each of the Razorbacks’ first five games of the season since the program joined the SEC in 1992. Allen’s second touchdown pass Saturday came late in the first quarter, when he connected with wide receiver Jared Cornelius on a 35-yard score to give Arkansas a 24-0 lead.
Allen had no fewer than two touchdown passes in Arkansas’ first four games this season.
Allen becomes the first QB to toss multiple TD passes in each of the first 5 games of a season for Arkansas since it joined the SEC in '92.
