FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors highlights a couple of the best segments from the Borderline Erotic Podcast in 2017.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas beat Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 206th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Looking back on Frank Ragnow and the Arkansas offensive line
One of the most well received podcasts that John and his colleagues ever did was on Arkansas OL Frank Ragnow. Jason Kersey traveled up to Frank’s home in Minnesota to talk with his entire family about the passing of his father. The story was nothing short of inspiring to anyone that read it. Frank was able to open up about moving forward without his father and just how tough of a road it has been so far.
Also discussed on the podcast was how Ragnow and the entire offensive line will need to be the most improved unit on the team in 2017. The offensive line overall was below average at best last season. That’s something that Bret Bielema has never had to struggle with as a head coach. Frank will be the perfect leader of his entire unit, but will it alone be enough to make them a solid SEC offensive line? Time will tell
