FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors tells Razorback fans why they should never be content with averaging seven wins a season.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas beat Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics we discussed in the 203rd episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Don’t settle for mediocrity Arkansas fans
John opens the podcast with telling Razorback fans that they shouldn’t let anyone tell them that being average is acceptable. Some people in local and national media have stated recently that the Arkansas program is a seven win average program. Fans should not be content with going barely above .500 year in, year out. It may be hard to understand for some media members to grasp expectations at times due to crazy fans. So John gives his overall program expectation and why fans should never settle.
Nonsense: Just call Jimmy Butler on his cell phone
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, John brings up the latest nonsensical story of new Milwaukee Bucks guard Jimmy Butler giving out his cell phone number. During a press conference this week, Butler answered his critics by saying they should call him up with their problems. Not out of the ordinary for someone to say, but to give their actual phone number out to the world? That’s a whole new level of craziness.
