FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Jason Kersey as they discuss Frank Ragnow and how important he is for the Razorbacks.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bielema described how he felt after beating Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics we discussed in the 175th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast.
Frank Ragnow means everything to the Razorback’s success
John opens up the podcast by discussing Jason’s article on Frank Ragnow and how far he has come since the passing of his father last fall. Since his passing, it’s been tough to get Frank to open up about his dad and what he’s been through. Jason breaks down the interview he conducted with Frank and his family as well as what he took away from his time spent in Minnesota. Frank is not only going to be a huge piece of Arkansas’ success on the field, but off the field as well in 2017. With the issues the offensive line went through last season, his impact is needed now more so than ever. Ragnow considered going to the NFL after his 2016 campaign, but decided to return for his senior year.
Nonsense: Athletes thin skinned or media too rude?
In the last nonsensical part of the podcast, John brings up the question of athletes being more thin skinned toward the media or media being more unprofessional towards athletes. With the NBA Playoffs going on, some of the players have snapped at media members simply for asking questions. Is this the athlete’s fault or media? Or both?
