FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Eric Bolin as they discuss how Arkansas’ poor offensive line play has hurt Austin Allen’s NFL chances.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 279th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas’ OL is killing Austin Allen’s chance at the pros
Nabors started the podcast by discussing Allen and why his own offensive line has hurt his NFL chances. Allen has been hit more times in the pocket than any other QB in the country. It was a major problem last season and it became even worse this season. Now that Allen may be out for a few weeks with an injury, it seems that the senior may not have many snaps left in college. There is no doubt that he is the toughest QB around and he is as talented as anyone. But when the offensive line keeps allowing him to get destroyed, then it will hurt his draft stock in April.
Nonsense: Houston Nutt settles
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of Houston Nutt settling his lawsuit with Ole Miss.
