FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors talks about some bold Arkansas predictions for the upcoming football season.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some topics discussed in the 240th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas football: Chase Hayden will be newcomer of the year
Nabors started the podcast by discussing how freshman running back Chase Hayden will contribute in a major way this season. Hayden has shown some serious skill in the scrimmages so far in preseason camp. He never goes down on first contact and has some much-needed athleticism in the backfield. With Rawleigh Williams retiring from football, the Razorbacks need another RB to step up after Devwah Whaley. That player will be Hayden, who Nabors thinks will produce 1,000 rushing yards.
Featured Razorbacks walk-on: Audry Horn
Nabors continued his featured walk-on of the week with an interview of Hogs offensive lineman Audry Horn.
Nonsense: Really, ESPN?
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of ESPN taking a broadcaster off a college football game because of his name. Robert Lee is a play-by-play man for ESPN and was scheduled to call the Virginia game to open the season. But due to recent events, ESPN felt his name was too close to Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
