FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors discusses why Arkansas looks so slow as a team, the Auburn series and more nonsense.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 280th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas just doesn’t have the speed to keep up
Nabors started the podcast by discussing the lack of speed the Razorbacks have and the reasons they don’t have it. For many years, Arkansas was known for having extremely gifted athletes with incredible speed. Not everyone on the team had serious speed, but they could always count on a few guys to break games wide open. Since Bielema has been coach, the Hogs have never really had any players with that ability. They recruit kids who seem to be known for their speed coming out of high school, but it doesn’t translate once in college. The strength and conditioning program Arkansas goes through could be the reason.
Nonsense: Don’t mess with Bobby Portis
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of Bobby Portis breaking a teammate’s jaw.
