FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors talks about if Arkansas is going to win a lot of games this season, the Razorbacks will need to win them in shootouts.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some topics discussed in the 237th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas football: scoring lots of points key to winning games
Nabors started the podcast by discussing how Arkansas will need to win their games this season. The Razorbacks defense will be extremely inexperienced and lacking depth. So, the offense will have to be the unit carrying the Hogs to victory each game. Luckily, Arkansas has the firepower on offense to do just that. If the Hogs find themselves in a back-and-forth game in the SEC, they have a really good chance of pulling it out. But if you’re Bielema, you don’t want to leave it in the hands of the defense late in games.
Nonsense: Nick Saban doesn’t like the media
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of Alabama coach Nick Saban going off on the media, per usual. Saban is not a fan of the media, but he understands their purpose. When doing a weekly press conference, he lashed out at the media, wondering why they even play the games since they all know what’s going to happen. Classic Saban is in midseason form.
