FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Eric Bolin as they react to Gus Malzahn staying at Auburn and where Arkansas needs to go from here in its coaching search.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the way former coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is the rundown of the topics discussed in the 313th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas has to move on from Gus Malzahn
Nabors started the podcast with Bolin discussing how Malzahn turned down the Razorbacks’ offer to remain the coach at Auburn. Many people felt that Malzahn was the best option for Arkansas because he had so many ties to the state. But after negotiating a new contract with Auburn, he decided to stick with the Tigers. So, Arkansas is now moving on to its next option for coach. Mike Norvell and Chad Morris seem to be the most logical choices for Arkansas.
Nonsense: CFP committee got it right
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of how the College Football Playoff committee correctly awarded Alabama the final spot in the four-team payoff.
