FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Trent Shadid as they discuss the impact Arkansas’ struggles have had on recruiting.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 284th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas fans tried to be patient
Nabors started the podcast with Shadid discussing how the Razorbacks’ poor 2017 season has affected recruiting. Since Bielema arrived at Arkansas, he has assembled one of the better recruiting staffs the Hogs have ever seen. The rankings have been solid, the star power has been impressive and the out-of-state pickups have been shocking. But for his previous years, Bielema was able to sell a building project that could lead to a promising result. Now, in Year 5, that can’t be a selling point anymore. The Razorbacks were setting up to have a great 2018 recruiting class. But with the issues going on right now, it will be tough to gain momentum leading into Signing Day.
Nonsense: Fast food for breakfast
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of the best fast-food options for breakfast.
