FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Jason Kersey as they discuss SEC Media Days this week and what to expect from Hoover, Ala.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas beat Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics we discussed in the 209th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
SEC Media Days are here and … why do they matter?
John opens the podcast with Jason talking about SEC Media Days and what benefit they give to fans. Over the past few years, SECMD has provided more entertainment than information. Arkansas will open up the press conferences. This year may be the first time there hasn’t been any major controversy involving any SEC team. Why is this event such a big deal?
Nonsense: John Calipari loses in the semis again
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, John brings up the latest nonsensical story of the U.S. U-19 basketball team falling to Canada in the semifinals of the World Cup. It’s pretty ironic that this team lost in the semifinals with John Calipari as head coach. There is never a reason for the United States to lose in basketball to any country on any level.
