Arkansas cornerback target Keisean Nixon says he will announce his commitment on August 1.
The 6-foot, 200-pound sophomore at Arizona Western College announced Sunday he is choosing between the Razorbacks, Cal, Colorado State and Iowa State.
Nixon is the No. 3 junior college cornerback in the 2017 class. He would be the second commitment in the Razorbacks’ class from Arizona Western after 4-star tight end Jeremy Patton committed last month.
He would also be the fourth cornerback commit, a position of emphasis in the class with expected starters Jared Collins and D.J. Dean both being seniors this season.

Hayden told SEC Country at The Opening he plans to announce his commitment date soon and has Arkansas, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State and South Carolina as his current top schools.
Thomas makes All-Tournament team
Arkansas 4-star cornerback/wide receiver target Ambry Thomas also impressed at The Opening, earning All-Tournament team honors in the 7-on-7 competition.
Thomas, from Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King High School, visited Arkansas during the Razorbacks’ three-day high school camp in June. He has a strong relationship with offensive coordinator Dan Enos and told SEC Country the Razorbacks have offered him to play either defensive back or wide receiver. He expects to make an official visit to Fayetteville in the fall.
