FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas running back Devwah Whaley was involved in a fight with a teammate, according to multiple sources close to the team.
It is unclear the extent of any injuries Whaley may have suffered. Additional sources say reports that Whaley suffered a broken jaw in the altercation are false.
Whaley sent a tweet Thursday afternoon announcing he was traveling with the team to its game against Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday. The tweet did not specify whether Whaley would play in the game, nor did it mention any possible dispute.
I appreciate everyone's concerns. I'm set to travel with my teammates and take on Texas A&M in my home state.

Sources did not disclose which teammate Whaley was involved with in the fight.
Arkansas is 1-1 this season. The Razorbacks are a 2 1/2-point underdog against Texas A&M, according to VegasInsider.com.
Whaley has run for 92 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries so far this season. This is his first as Arkansas’ primary running back. Whaley served as backup to the now-retired Rawleigh Williams III last year.
