FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas freshman running back T.J. Hammonds sustained a meniscus tear in his knee and underwent surgery on Monday, coach Bret Bielema said.
Hammonds tweaked his knee in a non-contact drill before the scrimmage on Saturday. He is expected to miss the next two to three weeks.
Bielema also announced wide receiver Dominique Reed has a sprained ankle and will miss about one week.
