The Arkansas Razorbacks took to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to do squats Thursday night, and two of their top running backs stole the show.
Sophomore Rawleigh Williams III and senior Kody Walker both squatted over 600 pounds. First, Williams squatted 607 pounds. That number would be impressive for anyone, and it’s even more so considering Williams is coming off a major neck injury.
Williams missed the final six games of 2015 because of his injury. He’s expected to share carries with Walker and freshman Devwah Whaley this season, and if his squat is any indication, he’s back to full strength again.
Walker would not be outdone. The 237-pound tailback squatted 700 pounds.

The Razorbacks will try to figure out life without former star running back Alex Collins this season, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. His replacements have to show they can carry the load on the field, but in the weight room, they’ve already proven themselves.
