FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas senior tight end Jeremy Sprinkle was spotted Monday at the football facility wearing a boot on his left foot, but Hogs coach Bret Bielema said Sprinkle “is going to be OK.”
Bielema hinted that Sprinkle’s unspecified injury was bothering him some last week before the Ole Miss game, but the senior played anyway.
“He went out there and got a little bit banged up during the course of the game, but he’ll be back and probably practice Wednesday or Thursday,” Bielema said.
The Razorbacks do not practice on Mondays.
Sprinkle has caught 19 passes for 199 yards and 4 touchdowns so far this season. His impact also has been felt in ways that don’t show up on the stat sheet; Sprinkle’s run blocking has drastically improved this season.
