FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — All 38 of Arkansas’ junior and senior football players are spending time Friday job shadowing in the Northwest Arkansas area.
The program is called “Razorbacks at Work” and is a new initiative in the university’s Office of Student-Athlete Development. Because they are job shadowing, Razorback upperclassmen did not participate in the Hogs’ Friday morning practice.
The entire team, though, will take part in the day’s second practice Friday evening.
The Student-Athlete Development office tweeted out some videos of players describing where they’ll be job shadowing Friday.
A few examples: Starting quarterback Austin Allen will be in Bentonville at Walmart. Senior offensive lineman Dan Skipper will work at Fayetteville City Hall, while senior linebacker Brooks Ellis is heading to the Optimal Pain & Wellness clinic.
