FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas senior wide receiver Keon Hatcher’s availability against Alabama this Saturday is uncertain, according to offensive coordinator Dan Enos.
Hatcher missed the Hogs’ 52-10 win over Alcorn State last Saturday with a sore hamstring. He sustained the injury the previous week in a loss to Texas A&M.
Coach Bret Bielema had stated after the win over Alcorn State he expected Hatcher to be recovered and ready to play against the Crimson Tide. Enos said Monday he had not received an update on Hatcher’s injury and was unsure if he would be available Saturday.
Hatcher is second on the team in receiving yards (281) and touchdowns (3). His 70.2 receiving yards per game and 20.1 yards per catch leads the team.
Enos added that he likes the matchup with Hatcher against Alabama’s defensive backs and he’s hopeful he’ll be able to play.
