Nearly everything was going according to plan as Arkansas led Missouri, 21-3, in the third quarter.
Then, wide receiver Dominique Reed sustained what appeared to be an ankle injury.
UPDATE: Arkansas coach Bret Bielema confirmed that Reed reinjured the same ankle that he hurt against LSU. However, he “should” be back for the bowl game.
“Dominique re-tweaked that ankle. Should have him back for bowl prep,” Bielema said, according to Eric Bolin of the Arkansas News Bureau.
Reed took a hard hit from a Missouri defender, and was then carted to the Razorbacks’ locker room to undergo X-rays on his ankle.
