Arkansas WR Jared Cornelius making incredible progress after gruesome injury
The injury bug has certainly taken its toll on Arkansas this season, but Wednesday was perhaps, a sign of good things to come.
Just two and half weeks after sustaining a gruesome double fracture on his left arm against Texas Tech, sophomore wide receiver Jared Cornelius posted a video on Instagram of him catching passes in rehab with no cast on his arm. The caption of the post read “#TheComeback.”
Cornelius still has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but it’s a positive sign for an Arkansas team who has seen wideouts Keon Hatcher and Cody Hollister, and running back Jonathan Williams sidelined with foot injuries.
The Shreveport, La. native totaled seven receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown in his three games of action before going down with the injury.
