Arkansas WR suffers double fracture in left arm, could be out for season
Arkansas wide receiver Jared Cornelius suffered a gruesome injury last Saturday against Texas Tech, and it may cost him the entire season.
Coach Bret Bielema revealed on Monday that Cornelius suffered a double fracture in his left arm and spent Saturday and Sunday night in the hospital, according to multiple reports. Cornelius caught a 34-yard pass from quarterback Brandon Allen in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Texas Tech and was tackled along the sideline. As the sophomore got up from the tackle, his left armed dangled to the side and appeared disfigured.
Bielema told reporters that he was unsure if Cornelius would be able to return this season.
