FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Razorbacks podcast. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Trent Shadid as they react to the first day of practice and Bret Bielema’s comments afterwards.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 223rd episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Bret Bielema impressed after first practice
Nabors opened the podcast with discussing some of the comments made by Bielema after their first fall camp practice. Bielema was excited about the energy his Razorbacks brought to the opening of fall camp. There is a sense of renewal for the entire coaching staff heading into this season. Coach B expressed his mindset this week as well as the level of focus for his players. Nabors and Shadid broke down all the comments made by Bielema and what to take away from them.
Nonsense: Ole Miss doesn’t seem to get it
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the latest nonsensical story of Ole Miss football sending out a very ill-advised Tweet on Thursday. It stated “You can’t put a price on family.” This sparked many people to poke fun at the Tweet since Ole Miss is under NCAA investigation for the very reason of paying players.
