Boucher commits to FAU
Endrickson Boucher announced his commitment to Florida Atlantic on Monday after previously listing Arkansas in his final three schools.
The Razorbacks offered the 2017 3-star prospect from Atlantic High School (Delray Beach, Fla.) in June after seeing him at a satellite camp in Boca Raton, Fla.
However, the offer from Arkansas was believed to no longer be on the table for Boucher after safety Montaric Brown committed in late July to give the Razorbacks four defensive back commits in the class.
The Razorbacks were easily the most prominent program to offer Boucher, who also listed Middle Tennessee State in his top three.
The official account of Arkansas football recruiting (@) was busy Sunday night retweeting a few posts by a pair of highly-touted junior college teammates.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College wide receiver Brandon Martin and defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs each had at least one tweet republished by the account. It’s clearly an effort to let the pair know just how interested the Razorbacks are in landing their commitment. Both are 4-star recruits and the top-rated JUCO prospects at their position.
Martin had previously committed to Auburn last month before decommitting a few days later. He was offered by Arkansas in late April. Auburn is still believed to be the favorite to land him
Buggs received his offer from the Razorbacks in late February. He is widely thought to be picking between Alabama and LSU.
Arkansas hasn’t had a commitment in the 2017 class since offensive lineman Dalton Wagner announced his pledge on July 29.
