Arkansas coach Chad Morris has a history with Clemson, and now he could be one step closer to rooting for the Tigers on game days.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney extended a scholarship offer to Morris’ son, Chandler, this week. The quarterback announced the offer on his Twitter feed Thursday morning.

Morris is part of the Class of 2020. He attends Highland Park in Dallas, Texas, which is the same high school that produced John Stephen Jones, the grandson of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Jones is now a freshman with the Razorbacks.
The elder Morris was the offensive coordinator at Clemson from 2011-14 and helped recruit Deshaun Watson to the Tigers.
The Tigers are Morris’ only reported offer at the moment, but if he continues to develop, an offer could come from Fayetteville sooner rather than later.
