Brandon Allen ended his Arkansas career as the school’s all-time leader in touchdown passes. His touchdown total will now be reset to zero in his first NFL season.
Allen was picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 201st pick in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The former Razorbacks star will likely compete for a backup role on the depth chart with the hope of developing into a NFL starting caliber quarterback. It will be a change for Allen, after he finished his Arkansas career with 34 consecutive starts, which is also a program record for quarterbacks.
